Welcome to Stift Urach

Stepping through the gateway of Stift Urach, visitors to the 500-year-old ensemble formed by the collegiate building and the Church of St. Amandus perceive the unique atmosphere of this special place. This is somewhere to leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind you, somewhere you can unwind, refresh and regenerate.

To RETREAT at Stift Urach means not only being able to come to rest and self-reflect; it is at the same time a place of genuine hospitality. Rooms equipped to a modern standard, comfortable beds, appetising meals, practiced spirituality and, if desired, personal counselling come together to make your stay an invigorating experience, fortifying body and soul.

»The deepest meaning of hospitality is this: to offer each other rest on the road to our eternal home.«
Romano Guardini
